italy, red wine, belgium, udine
...
My National Day was pretty good, too bad about the weather but we could do nothing about it. We drove down to Udine/Italy for some shopping. I actually wanted to go to Venice but it's raining so we just stopped by Citta Fiera, the mall in Udine. It's still fun to do some shopping there. I bought a pair of boots, some Italian food and some decorations for my house as well.
I also bought a couple bottles of red wine. The Merlot delle Venezie from Venice was on special offer, € 1.00/bottle, damn I got a few one since I mostly use it for cooking
, I also got the 2003 Grumello (from Chiuro) for Wolfgang's birthday as well. Personally I don't drink much wine, only for special occasions.
Also bought the latest issue of Wallpaper today, gawd the furniture/decorations/accessories they show in the magazine look so good... It won't be long until my next shopping spree
Oh well, I should pack up for the trip to Belgium tomorrow now. Still got a lot of things to do before the trip...

trade, udine, boot, babyshambles
...
OK I'm giving Pete another chance... I wonder if he's going to make it this time?
Work's so boring today but in an hour I'm going to leave the office and do some grocery shopping. A friend of mine has done service for my car (new brake, spark plug, motor oil, winter tyre etc. etc.) so it's pretty winter-fit now. I'm thinking about going on a shopping trip in Italy tomorrow (since it's completely dead here because of the National Day). Either to Udine or Triest or Venice, depends on the traffic of course, I'm quite sure that thousands of Austrians will go down there for the holiday. I saw a pair of boots the other day which I really want to buy, as I can recall it should be a bit cheaper in Italy. Winter's coming up so it's the right time to go for it now!
I saw the movie "Trade" the other day, it's awful to see people exploiting children in that way. This problem doesn't only exist in Mexico as the movie depicts, but all over the world. How can people treat children like a commodity and exchange it for money, what's wrong with this world?
My weekend won't be a long one though, despite of the holiday tomorrow, since my boss and I will go to Belgium on Sunday and visit a few of our customers there next week. It's not going to be a relaxing trip I'm sure...
