a chaos of desire

couldn't believe it when I woke up yesterday morning, it's snowing in Vienna... damn. So we waited a while before we headed for brunch in Amerlingbeisl... didn't really want to walk on the dirty snowy streets at all... Unfortunately it didn't stop so we had no choice but to get out  At first we wanted to go to Das Möbel but the place was so full, so we went to Amerlingbeisl for the breakfast buffet instead. It was really yummy, Helena's sis and her daughter Katharina joined us later on, can't believe she's so big now, a few years back she's only a tiny baby.

The highlight of the weekend was of course Arcade Fire's concert in the Gasometer. These Canadians were amazing in the concert, the energy, the powerful music and their talent. They're unique in every way. People got so excited and everyone around me was dancing along the songs. "Intervention" still had that kind of emotional effect on me, just like the time when I heard it. No one really wanted the gig to end...

Funny enough when we were driving back home, once we got out of Vienna, the sun was shining brightly, no strong wind or whatsoever. I even managed to get back to Carinthia early in the evening so I could have dinner with Wolfgang as I have promised him last week (to celebrate his birthday). I had such a big pizza which was incredible, considered how much I ate at the brunch buffet in Vienna...

Today was pretty good as well, since my boss invited us to have lunch in a Croatian restaurant near Rosental. Gawd I ate too much again, this was what I had:

Oh yeah, last Friday our Italian customer invited me and my boss to have dinner at his home in San Daniele (the famous place for Italian ham prosciutto). They made a huge delicious portion of polenta and various food. That was way too much actually.

So starting from tomorrow on I'll be on diet again... How many times I said that already?
