The next part is the Secondo. It consists of a second main course mainly composed of meat. Veal would be the meat of choice in this culture, even though beef has grown in popularity since WWII.

The side dish is called the Contorno, which is pretty much what you would imagine, some vegetables or a salad. And last but not least is the Dolce, which as you probably guessed it is the dessert. The most delectable way to finish a meal!
