The Aspire Revo R3610 features an ultra slim design with piano black finish and very compact dimensions of 180 x 180 x 30mm. It can either snap to the VESA mount on the back of a monitor or stand alone.
With a dual core Atom processor, NVIDEA ION graphics chipset and up to 4GB of RAM, the Revo R3610 should provide more than enough power for standard HTPC requirements. Acer state that it supports 1080P HD video playback.
Despite the small size of the unit, it comes with a good selection of IO ports. This includes 6 USB 2.0 ports, microphone, Ethernet, VGA, HDMI, eSATA and Optical S/PDIF.
One important point to mention is that the Acer Aspire Revo R3610 does not include and optical drive. No really a big issue since an external DVD-RW or Blu-ray optical drive can be purchased at a low cost.
