...something will happen, eventually.
After several days of feeling very under the weather, today, at last, I feel a bit better. I've still got a bit of a cough and a touch of nasal expulsion, but today is the first day since last Wednesday (nearly a whole week!) that I've actually felt better than yesterday.
With age comes wisdom and the realisation that things will change if you just have the patience to wait. I will soon be entering the second half century of my time on the planet and I knew it was coming, but it's still a relief that is finally is here!
My day at work was even enjoyable today. I got lots done and didn't have too many of those interruptions that inevitably come working in an open plan office with (I've never actually counted them all) loads of other people.
So, two good things happening in one day. I'm led to believe that all good things come in three's, so I'm just waiting for the third thing to happen. (If I post this soon enough, perhaps it'll be the mystery MyOpera prize for the one millionth blog entry winning a million dollars - one can but dream!
