It was a good 3 days 3 nights!
But for the 1st night, it was spent on the BUS for 10 freaking hours!!!
I know I know, this post is way behind time! It's already like end of the month!
Who CARES!!?!?! I'm still going ahead with this post

Hahaha... none of you can stop me~~~
Although this is my 4th time to Penang, it is a totally new experience for me. Places that I've went too, 80% are not the same
Day 1:We took a bus to KOMTAR from the bus terminal, then to Batu Ferringgi i.e. Lone Pine Resort. Then out to town (i.e. KOMTAR) by bus again. Public transportation in Penang!!! Ok lah, interesting experience but it was quite a long wait for the busses. Can't really take cab all the time, right? Pocket will run dry very very fast!
when we reached Georgetown, we spent the entire time walking under a freaking bright and hot and humid sunny AFTERNOON!!! I got tanned in a few hours! I haven't walk like that for a long time, it was refreshing, but freaking hot
We looked for the famous Chendol store. Next, we roamed around and look at the landmarks from the travel pamphlets. Temples, Mosques, churches, carpets & goldsmith shops street, Gurney drive, Gurney plaza, etc. Free and easy on foot! It was really FUN, coz you can see a whole new side of Penang or at least Georgetown =) Needless to say, the FOOD there, although not from the most famous stall, but everything is relatively good!!!
We are so tired of walking on the 1st day. And I am so tired of hunting for my ATM machines that can enable my transaction. Apparently, my Malaysia bank account had been rendered inactive, that's why I can't withdraw any $$$ from the ATM machine!!!
Luckily, I managed to bring enough RM$$$ to spend, coz I seriously don't like to borrow $$$ from people, especially in large sum. Of course, gotta spend it wisely.
Day 2:We are so tired of walking around, and places that we will be going on the second day is actually far apart, we decided to rent a car! We got quite a good deal too. a small KANCIL for RM100 and I GET TO DRIVE!!! Well, I am better at driving than reading a map. So why not? ^_^
Penang roads are actually not that easy to drive. Signboards are not really that helpful. Pulau Tikus and Batu Feringgi are pointing at opposite direction, but to get to Batu Feringgi, you have to pass through Pulau Tikus... It was bad to trust the signboard too many times. Thank goodness, Eugene is good at reading maps... So at the end of the day, we managed to conquer PENANG ROADS!
We went to Bukit Bendera, then Kek Lok Si. Next to the Bus Terminal at Sg. Dua to get tickets for a friend who is leaving earlier. Then proceed on to Teluk Bahang, which is a fisherman village. There, we had a hard time finding the restaurant, but WE FOUND IT!!! THANK GOODNESS coz that last dinner in Penang was FABULOUS!!! Seafood meal with prawns, crabs, stingray, sotong and vege (including drinks and rice) only cost RM 14 per person. I wanna eat again!!! I wanna go there again~~~
*SIGH!!*
Day 3:Alamak, dinner starting.... I need to go, so to be continued.
