national geographic, wildlife, documentaries
How do you sell a documentary?
Add a bit of graphics ? Make it last six hours. Hype it up with a promo? Hell, just go all out, throw a massive campaign, invite everyone to a party. You might trigger the genes of docu-lovers but you don't fool me.

e-cigarette, smoking, e-liquid
Being a smoker that’s tried to kick the habit, I came upon a credible alternative.
E-Cigarettes have been here for a handful of years, yet most smokers still seem to be in the dark.
I have tried a couple of models, I can can tell that they really do come close to the real experience. E-Cigs contain nicotine (optionally they can be without), but do away with the other toxins that cause cancer and other diseases. They are also safer for the nearby non-smoker as it is not smoke they make but a form of water vapour, hence the term ‘vape’ amongst E-ciggers.
E-Cigs use an ‘atomiser’ to create the vapour by activating a cheap liquid called E-liquid, this is mixed with a variety of flavours, including mimicking the main leading tobacco brands. The suprising thing is that I found I prefered the non-tobacco flavours, like ‘grape’, ‘bannana’.
With most public places banning real cigarettes, and confessed addicts like me wanting a safer alternative, I really do believe E-Cigs are the future.

Yee haa,
I have found once again somewhere that sells 'hard' toothbrushes.
It must be at least 5 years since the day all the shops stopped
selling them. For some reason people believe they are harmful.
It's all about pressure control.
Nothing else quite gives the experience to the feel of a real
scrubbing.
I don't advise you to start using hard toothbrushes because once
you're hooked, nothing else can replace it.

Browsers Update Opera Chrome Firefox Explorer I.E
Just as I fan-fared the innovation of the Opera Browser back in September 2009,
I now step back a little disappointed with the latest version of Opera 10.5.
The new look of doing away with the File toolbar seems like a good idea but I actually miss it.
The fonts have also been twiddled a bit over the interface such that Opera no longer looks as
as lean as before, there are big fat tabs that just won't slim in preferences.
Biggest blow is the page zoom widget, which before had solid increments in a column, but now is
an incredibly fidgety click and drag affair which was so annoying, I had to fallback to 10beta3.
I have also noticed that the new Google Chrome is copying many of Opera features including the speed dial amongst other things. Although still too raw to use, Chromium does have one ace above all the other browers - speed. Quick program startup and also net-throughput is tops in many a speedtest.net test.
I'm not going into I.E nor Firefox, they are already both too far bloated and slow to be worthy of comment.

passwords
One of Opera's strengths is that it asks if you need to save a password.
Note that it enters the page anyway to see the result as it awaits your reply.
Other browsers ask 'before' entering the page (which is not so good).
Anyway I digress,..
If you have saved passwords, here's how to find them:
Tools > Preferences > Forms > Password Manager
Yes, it's not in the obvious place (tools>preferences>advanced>security),
perhaps it should be, I think that's where most people would look, or
maybe a link/hint from there would be nice.

opera tips
To save space for more links on your personal bar, disable the icons to choose text-only, then rename every personal link by following it with a '|' which will act as a separator.
Then|you|will|get|something|like|this

Opera comes of age
And when you thought browsers could offer nothing new..
Opera 10(RC) USB edition not only satisfies the modern minimalist's geek streak but goes one better
by outshining the competition on functionality and appearance.
Completeness is the keyword here. Opera continues it's legacy for speed and convenience. Opera 10 will no doubt be cornerstone which other browsers will try to follow.
I find it hard to fault Opera since it mends most of it's past failings, things like
page rendering, plugin recognition, password management have all been improved.
Opera has once again come of age.
