Framing

,

In which quality work takes time...sigh

And I'm not talking about framing pictures, or replacing frames on windows, although windows are involved. Feh.

Yesterday, I thought - well. I've got time, why don't I do a dynamic scan on CRC_2_P0_M4. Except that M4 wasn't cooperative, so I grabbed M2 instead. This reminds me of a comic strip - wading pool by the beach, crabs in the water, big hands coming down to grab them. Anyone remember what it was?

So - yes. A dynamic scan with 10 x 30s frames; 10 60s frames; and 9 x 300s frames for a total of 3600s. That's a total of 29 frames in case you're too lazy to do the math. So here I am today reframing the bits and pieces the data so's I can do a MAP3D OSEM reconstruction and finally have at the image so I can see what happened.

Who knew, that each frame has to be reconstructed S-E-P-A-R-A-T-E-L-Y. EACH frame is handled separately. :faint: It takes 30 minutes to complete the iterations for each frame - so another 15 hours before this is done.

We need a node. And now! Feck. Feck. Feck.

My state of mind is rapidly degenerating from cranky to frankly disagreeable. I might just have to go buy myself a CAD$1800.00 ultralight, ultraportable laptop now. Bah.

IntangiblesA right proper send off
