Hungry Ghost's Daily Diet (TM)

Dec 21 2009. One year already. Hrumph.

Waiting

, ,

In which I wonder whether it's more important to breathe or to sneep...

Breathing - not for the purposes of living, but for calming agitated states of being down. After all, after about 2 - 3 minutes of not breathing, brain damage would start setting in. Of course, one could say that it doesn't matter too much in my case, but my brain damage is mine, and mine alone so you you leave my lovingly placed lesions alone.

I'm waiting for answers today. Herewith a partial list:
  1. Where will we find $100,000 for a study in progress?
  2. When do we use the 10 kDa dextran?
  3. When will I get my tooth fixed properly (two cancellations, one postponement, waiting for confirmation now)
  4. When will the deck dry out?
  5. What strains should I use?
  6. Should I burn more bridges?
  7. When do I finally forget 2009?
  8. How many per group do I need?
  9. What groups do I need?
  10. Will I ever be pain-free?
  11. What will happen with GE?
  12. Will I fly on a 777-300 or 777-300ER?
  13. What words will I use to console PJB with?
  14. ....and so it goes...

Sneeping: Bad luck when you wake up early - terkejutlah - and then can't get back to sleep. The lack of sleep only feeds into my pools of anxiety. The shallow breathing doesn't help either. I think I'll have to invest in a portable oxygen tank with tubes snaking around my nose; that might help. That way, if someone smokes around, me I can turn up the oxygen flow, point the tube at their cigarette and make it flare up into flames. V. dramatic this. Almost as good as a flame-thrower.

So anyway, bottom line is, I'm sleepy and need some air.

I suppose I can do both - breath and sleep. Maybe I'll do that. It's up to me after all, can't depend on friends, family or enemies anymore. Not in the brave new world which I now inhabit.

Is. Up. To. Me. Bleah.

I don't have any particular illumination tonight, but perhaps you should be very careful before you start to burn your britches. Homer: Doh!

would that be like burning a bra?! :eyes:

Perhaps burning your britches is worse than dropping your britches - depends on the circumstances!

Well, how much trouble could you get into?
On the other hand...
