A Test

In which officially working at home (OWaH) is put to the test...
Officially Working at Home (OWaH) can be difficult, but is not without its advantages. The day's schedule is amenable to sudden changes, phones can be switched off, and requests (read 'annoying people') can be ignored. OWaH - this must be done more often. As a scientist, however, I feel the urge to test the efficiency of OWaH, to prove to myself that this OWaH improves performance and maximizes output.
The other dreams were more scattered, except for one which I rather fear will turn out to be prophetic. I don't think I'll say much about this one save to say that it involves someone who was an excellent mentor to me, and that I hope very much that it doesn't come to pass.
Test 2 - Paradox The Enchantress of Florence. Novel, by Salman Rushdie. Morgor dell'Amore: 'Paradox, sire, is a knot that allows a man to seem intelligent even as it is trussing his brain like a hen bound for the pot. "In death lies the meaning of life!" "A man's wealth engenders his soul's poverty!" And so violence may become gentleness, and ugliness beauty, and any blesed thing its opposite. This is indeed a hall of mirrors, full of illusions and inversions. A man may wallow in the bogs of paradox until his last day without ever thinking a clear thought worthy of the name'.
Paradox was detected, paradox has now been dealt with, and my thoughts are clearer.
Paradox: "There was uneasiness always, and sleeplessness would be the result which only fed the uneasiness. There was anxiety when by definition there should have been none."
So if there is something where there should be none, then it's not what you think it is.
Dealing: "Anxiety equals toxicity, and toxicity by definition is bad for one so you detoxify and clean house."
Toxin removal equals detoxification, which equals purity of thought and intent.
And so now, thoughts, while still a bit fuzzy, are clearer.
Test 3 - Equilibrium: A poisoned mind is not healthy, but toxic minds are generally result of a trigger that starts a cascade of endogenous cytokines and inflammatory molecules. So fortunate that OWaH is an effective inhibitor, albeit promiscuous, of trigger points. In short, have better equilibrium in state of mind and body now.
