Monday fatigue

Hmmm. Not a good start to the week. It's only Monday and already I'm dead tired. Through no fault of mine though. But let's step back a few hours in time and rehash Sunday.
*****
Sunday morning started with a sneezing fit and prety much continued that way for most of the day. The windy saturday had blown up all the pollen and nasty seeding thingies (gametes I think they're called) from the pines and assorted evergreens from the mountains and by my apt. so the air was practically gummy with gametes (if that's the right word).
So sneeze, sneeze, sneeze. Made sowing the lobelia seeds, which are smaller than the period at the end of this sentence (assuming you've not shrunk the size of your text/screen), very difficult. You try controlling a controlled seed drop into little wet peat pods while holding back a sneeze. It's not easy, but then life was never meant to be easy.

Fortunately was saved from all this dibbling (my back and eyes were aching by then)when C came by to take me to IKEA and Costco. Both were busy so it took longer than expected to get what we wanted, at least at IKEA. We drove into Costco and as we got out of the car, this woman came by and shook her head telling us not to bother going in as the line-ups were all the wayyyy back to the end of the store. That was enough for us and we left, she dropped me off and there was time for a tea before cleaning up and heading to bed.
*****
Monday morning started with a phone call at 5:15 am from EK; granted she was calling from M'sia, but she should know the time difference better. Didn't answer the phone in time. Fell asleep again, but woke up feeling very groggy. And this is a very uninspiring post so I shall stop here because it's late and I'm tired and need to sneeeeeep.
