Using my own domain name/my own name to identify my blog is a good idea.

i've gone "independent". this means that i set up my own blog system and take care of its codes, databases, etc.

and i think that china is being an ass by doing that...u can't NOT let the ppl of ur country know what is going on in the OUTSIDE world...cuz they bound to find out through the media

In terms of internet censorship, China is one of the best.

Another reason i moved my blog is that i want to use my own domain name (surefire.cn). my own name gives me a sense of independence.

Google's domain name host service is blocked as its blogging service is in China. So, it makes no big difference if i switch to another banned service.
