My day today

WRITE!!

Why do we write? What do we write about? Good question. Writing should be fun, it should be a portal for the mind to exit through, thrusting itself upon the vast universe of dream worlds. We are what we write and we should write the way we are. Finding the exact voice in which to write and expel our thoughts is vital to the body of the story in which we tell. Should we pass up challenges to write in areas we know nothing about? I am creative and I enjoy sarcastic humor. I can turn a mere vacuum cleaner into a machine that the dog will want to continuously attack and frighten small children, even when it is in the closet. I can make it so the reader will want to buy the vacuum just for home security. However, can I write restrained by boundaries and become technical? That is a stretch that feels very clumsy to me and I am unhappy with what I have written, but others are not. How do I cross the lines to write effectively in both worlds and still add a touch of delight to every thing I write? This is a powerful tool I use in my world. I can change the direction of a mood with one single sentence. People change minds of thousands others with words they write. I must be able to write in all areas to find what I have buried long ago.
