Honoring our Father

Exodus 20:12
“Respect your father and mother; so that your days are prolonged upon the soil which Ehyah your Elohim is giving you.”
That is the fifth command that Mosheh brought down from the mountain and one that we use regularly in keeping our children in line. We know that hitting our parents is not respecting them, we also know that treating our parents and disobeying their rules are altogether bad and harmful to us. Yet when it comes to respecting our Father in heaven, we just don’t get it. We choose which rules we want to obey or not obey. If our children did the same to us, our homes would not be very peaceful; they would be full of strife and grounded children.
“Suzy, don’t play in the middle of the street.” We tell our children not to play in the street because they could be run over by a car. Our Father in heaven tells us not to play in the street but we excuse our disobedience with, “But Paul says all things are permissible…Paul says that as long as we have a good heart we don’t need to obey Torah.” Paul says…Paul says…Paul says. Paul says we don’t need to worry about the feasts, Sabbaths and holy days of EhYah because the Messiah came and killed Torah when he was hung on the stake. What about what Yeshua says? He tells us to obey Torah, to keep the commands and the Sabbaths and feasts of EhYah; he also said that he did not come to do away with Torah but to fulfill it.
We tell our children that it does not matter what their friends do, as they are not of our family. Some of their friends may get to stay out all night, go to movies that are not altogether wholesome or spirit friendly, some of their friends may say things that if our child or children were to say to us, we would ground them to their rooms until they were 50. But yet, we as children of Adonai continually break Torah, the rules of our Father’s house, just because someone else said it would be all right and that the rules have changed. The rules have not changed; they were magnified by our Messiah Yeshua. He came to this earth, placed himself in a human body to walk according to Torah, to show us that we too can do it. But we ignore everything He said and place all of our trust into another who says we don’t need to do it.
Yeshua did not buckle or cave in because of hunger and thirst, he fought back.
The anti-Christ that we are all looking for has already come and he has already netted his reward and led many people astray.
Some will say ‘But Peter endorses Paul in his second letter.” Yes he does, but if you go back and read in John 21:15 -22, Yeshua asks Kefa (Peter) three times if he loved him. Three times Peter said yes and three times Yeshua told Peter to feed his sheep and he also gave him a warning,
“Truly, truly I say to you, when you were younger you girded yourself and walked where you wanted, but when you are old you shall stretch out your hands, and another shall gird you and bring you where you do not want.” In the very next breath, Yeshua tells Peter, “Follow Me.”
Just because Sha’ul’s letters are in our scriptures does not mean he is of EhYah or the kingdom of heaven. We have been given plenty of warning throughout all scripture that the enemy would come posing as the son of light and we have been given a choice, in the very book we hold dear to our hearts. It is a test brothers and sisters. A test of the heart, the mind and the spirit, which way will we choose?
If we go back and read all of EhYah’s commands and all of Yeshua’s words, we will find that they are the same. They repeat themselves over and over and over again. Follow Torah; follow the commands of our Father in heaven!! Over and over again, it is written, Torah, torah, torah. What is so hard about following Torah? Nothing, nothing at all, the commands are easy, what is hard is the fact that we don’t want to hurt anyone else by destroying their g-ds or beliefs. It is easier for us to love and pamper others into the kingdom. But yet if our own children disobey our rules we discipline them because we love them. People think that EhYah is all love and affection. Yet He calls himself our Father. He loves us so much that he will discipline us for our bad behavior and the breaking of any of his commands.
What is the nature of EhYah our father in heaven, the only I AM? Answer that by asking “What was my father like when I was a child and stepped out of line?” Or “What do I do when my child or children break the rules I set forth to keep them safe and to teach them?” We all have rules with which to live by and if we break any one of those rules we land ourselves in some trouble. Sure, we have perfect children who never break the rules and then we have children who always break the rules, but if we truly love Yeshua Messiah would we not follow his rules?
Remember the words Yeshua said to Peter, “FOLLOW ME”. The anti-christ is already here and has been here for a long, long time, he is growing stronger and stronger but so are the prophets of EhYah. Father in heaven has chosen now to reveal His truths, we are waking up, slowly, one at a time, and we are wiping the sleep from our eyes because we are hearing the trumpets that are announcing the coming of the Bride Groom, we are trimming our lamps and topping off our oil and waiting for Him to come and take us by the hand and lead us home. Whom are you waiting for?
