My day today

It is a glorious day when the sun shines and begins to warm the earth from winter's frozen holds. Kittens are ready to leave home, puppies are happily pouncing flower petals as they blow around the ground. The winter rains will continue to nourish gardens for weeks to come, even though they have stopped for the season. The tomato plants are twining their way around one another and growing tall. The lavander is blooming with vivid purples and silvery greens. It is now time to cut the boys' hair, as it is curling around their adorable faces, slowly bring the shorts and sandals out of storage along with wind breakers and sweat pants, for those many trips to the beach. Children are beginning to become a little less containable, as the sun stays longer in the sky, giving them more time to play. The cherry trees are flowering like mad and small, pink petals fill the streets, as the wind carries them like feathers, through the air. Yes, it's spring, it is indeed a glorious day!!
