Hi! It's been a while and a lot of things have changed. I want to restart this blog as something personal where I want to share things I'm doing and thinking. And I would love to read your comments about certain things. As far as possible I will try to write in english here since I believe this is the best way for an international community like this one. English is not my native language so please don't mind if it sometimes feels a little clumsy...
As I'm always unsure if things I do are good or not I've thought about finding my own way in the last months. Currently living very near Berlin my wish is to move a little more to the north where there's more nature and more quietness. Because I work in Berlin as a software developer everyday I need this but cannot find it where I'm living right now. The picture is from a place around 15 minutes by car from my home. It shows a little bit how I feel currently - seeing where the way goes but it seems very steep and yet so nice that I want to get up there as soon as possible - or even impossible. And what happens if I reach my "goal", when I find a place I really love, what's next? What's my goal, is it "just" having a good place to live and a good place to work? Perhaps finding someone who wants to live with me in a place like this. I don't know.
Have you found your way yet? Or do you feel you have? Please let me know!

Got a new mobile phone with Android. And once again Opera seems the best browsing solution so far. At the moment I am very pleased with that and use it on my Mac, too. So let's see.

It's been some time since my iBook was usable the last time. The HD said goodbye and since the notebook was old and quite slow I decided not to get it repaired. But I pretty often used Opera on it (since Safari had a time during that it was slooooow). On my "big" computer with Ubuntu Linux and at work I use it (incl. OperaLink) as my main browser, too.
The last days I discovered a lot of features (and community stuff) I did not really remark here before. I am starting to love the concept and the comfortable way to have everything in one place. But I am still not sure if this is what I really want and need. It is a decision between "a lot of specialized software products that do what they can pretty well" and "one application that does pretty much everything, but not always in the best way".
Let's see how I will setup everything here... Perhaps I will also give the built-in Mail client a try...

This is not really the first Blog I am trying to post in regularly. But I hope it will be a successfull try this time. What you will read here? Good question! Because this is a private Blog there will be all sorts of things that I find interesting, that happened to me, that I want to tell you about... Since I am a freelancer some things from my business will be also readable here. It belongs to me. So it's also private in a way...
That's all for the first posting here (phew). Hope to read you!
