Privatization is dangerous to Indian economy system: - Time to think

, , , ...

Bhubaneswar(Orissa)India: 06/09/2011:-The opposition of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) has urged to Congress-led united progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Center not to allow industrial houses to start private banks, which is felt to be unjustified one. If such a decision is taken by government, the country as well as the general public may face serious consequences in this complex nature of economy system in the light of global financial meltdown. History speaks that, we have fought for our freedom of our country, abolished Jamidari system, which is know as feudal lord system in western countries. By privatizing government control organizations, we have again adopted the same Jamidari System, and it is also against Gandhian thoughts and principles. Privatization will also cause price inflation, duplicity, lack of safety and security to the workers and employees, less social securities, low wages except few etc. Hence, now it is the time, all the political parties, whether regional or central, central and state trade unions, white collar associations, mass organizations, unemployed youths of India and citizens' groups in his efforts. Even, it can cause incalculable harm in the near future to our economy and the country and will be very dangerous. Even the opposition to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in retail trade, mining and higher education seems to be 100% justified. All we know that the cause of price inflation is due to complex nature of economy policies instead of simply one. Our country can increase its GDP growth and can control price inflation or to make it balance, if proper public oriented plans are adopted for implementation in different areas and sectors.

It is obvious that the economy of a country can develop on the basis of demand and supply,as human wants are unlimited, which is the basic principle of economics. The basis demands are food, shelter and clothes, and after that the questions of other demands may apply subject to financial stability of an individual. It is the duty of government to see that the basic demands of have not people should be fulfilled up first, and it is possible in our own country, if more importance are given to the agriculture sectors in comparison to others industries/departments,as all the basic needs can be met by our own country “Bharat”. In addition to basics needs, other demands can also be fulfilled by our own country by producing those in India. Well established, some middle class and rich people may use foreign products, no problems, but the basis needs should be fulfilled first. In Our Bharat, which is golden country know as “Sunara Bharat”, but we find that still people are moving hither and thither and living in tent houses without any prime facilities. Who is thinking about them and their education?

Our own country has not been sized yet, and at first we have to size it within our country’s resources. Education is just like business now instead of public utility one. The common people and students are being exploited by the educational institutions, and there will be Foreign Direct Investment on education, the students will be more exploited, and education should be free up to Bachelor Degree level in respect of all the streams, and all the educational Institutions should also be nationalized like nationalization of private banks into public sector banks. Nationalization of private banks into public sector one was the good and tremendous decision of Late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. If Foreign Direct Investment, if made and is utilized in the sectors of IT, Bi-Technology and tourism, it may create generate employment, but not in other threes as stated above.

Moreover, It will be better, if Government of India encourage our Indian IT engineers, Biotechnologist, and provide all type of assistance to start industries in their own country, it will be better for our nation. There will be no financial burden on government of India, if properly planned and executed in golden country.
