DAY 6 (Weekend) - A Visit to the Fulanis near the Community.
Saturday, May 21, 2011 11:05:30 AM
Dear Notepad,
This is the first weekend in the TTFPP. And today, I and a section of the boys paid the Fulanis people visit.
The fulanis people are cattle rearing people living near the community where i'm having my TTFPP. So today, in order to get the cheapest Milk, we had to in there.
The time they milk the cattle is around 9am. And it takes about 20 to 50mins to finish about 5 cattles.
One litter of milk cost just 80 ghana pesewas, less than one ghana Cedi. In the city, it would have cost a whooping 10 ghana cedi. I think one of the benefits of the Third Trimester Field Practical Program is the cheapness of foodstuffs.
I entreat every UDS student to enjoy life in his or her community.
