Hi , today I am going to blogg about the norwegian national day the 17 may.
It's tomorrow and I cant wait.
Why do we celebraite 17 May?
Its because that was the day norway got their constitution.
It got signed by national Assembly in 1814 they choosed Christian Fredrik in the .
We celebraite because first Norway was ruled by the danish people , but then sweden got the control over us. Christian Fredrik gave us our own constitution.
Then we got independence and thats why we celebraite 17 May.
When we celebraite it a parade of people walk in the streets with norwegian flags and go with their Bunad mostly woman do , not menn so much. Bunad is the international costume.
After walking in the street we go home and eat a good dinner like steik , then we go to the primary (kids mostly) where they have fun games and you can win candy and some other stuff.
It is many diffren't parades it is the children parade , the people parade, the russ parade ,the morning parade and also the military parade.
