Note: I am a Movable Type user for my primary blog (1, 2). This entry is not a review, rather my experience using WordPress 2.0.
Project began and we need simple documentation tool for our Linux notebook. I choose blog -- easy to setup, simple to use, and chronological viewpoint. Apache and MySql are okay for the notebook. With WordPress 2.0 euphoria last week1; this can be a good point to try major version change in WP. In short, this great product still surpasses others in term of ease of installation.
But, that's WordPress improvements that is for me becoming unlucky feature:
A nice catch for common end-users?

But, that's WordPress improvements that is for me becoming unlucky feature:
- Visual rich editor that annoys me because it takes control over HTML and Markdown. Maybe I am too HTML-geeky?
- More space occupied by post preview. It is unnecessary to have real "on the fly" preview with the impact that users spend more scrolling.
A nice catch for common end-users?
