OOO Yeah, Opera 8.50 is out, and it's free! Did I hear you correctly there? well, it's always been free hasn't it? not really. Opera browser used to have a banner ad on the top of the window meaning that it's not completely free, but on their latest version, they've decided to remove this banner. This move had definitely won my vote for Best News of the Month!
and, i just solved a problem with macromedia shockwaave plugin. i was having some difficulty viewing a page from this wonderful site:
http://www.bl.uk/onlinegallery/ttp/ttpbooks.html
it allows you to flick through scanned version of original masterpieces such as Alice in Wonderland, and Da Vinci's sketch book. I found the solution for the plugin problem from the opera forum, and one of the user, yadavankur suggest to go to this page:
http://www.opera.com/support/search/supsearch.dml?index=430
where it leads to a download page for netscape and opera users.
