Included are almost six million POIs (points of interest) such as restaurants, hotels, stores, gas stations, ATMs and more. For directions that guide you from one turn to the next, there are spoken street names. It does not include current traffic information or Bluetooth connectivity.

You can use your address book, email, as well as Internet search results, to receive navigation at a single touch. Geotagged images can also be navigated to as well. These can be photos taken and tagged with the camera. There is a Locate feature that will automatically save the location of your car when you take the navigator from its dock. You will never need to wonder where you parked again.

Additional features include a stopwatch, calculator, calendar, clock with world time zones, weather forecasts and currency converter. There is an MP3 plan as well as a picture viewer. Plus, also included is a connector for a car charger, a USB port to charge and sync and a headphone jack.

Will the Garmin Nuvi 295W be right for you? This may partially depend on your need for a mobile navigation device. If you only drive one car and it has GPS and you have a smartphone, it may be unnecessary. That being said, the added features are handy to have and, if you do require a GPS unit you can take with you, it may just be the answer.
