New Network 2011 [ez.com/Gplus]: Google+ idea

The World in Action - possible without actionism
You really want a better world?
Then please choose a group which optimally is for you.

WordPress.com is very powerful. But this Opera Environment remains the number one for me as very fast, simple, lean space and private notepad. The Blog Search allows the wildcard * at the right end of strings here! For most Casual Bloggers it would be the better (Slow) Blog.

Not enough power and freedom for your space? Try @Wikidot - more than just a Wiki. Really.

This also applies to my rough Plain English. Yes, I have a lot to learn. coffee

Moloch Facebook

, , ,

Good News for a better Internet:

“We're closing our Facebook features” (Twiends.com)

“After a fair bit of discussion this week with Facebook we have decided that changing the feature the way they have requested will not lead to a good experience for Twiends users.
Our goal is to help people grow their social networks in an ethical and compliant way.
We want to be a great discovery engine for users, and we always want to make sure that we conform to the policies of the networks that we integrate with.”

Starke Worte zeitlos von da und dort

Mit “@” beginnende Namen gehören zum Blog-Dienst Twitter. Zum Beispiel @GuyKawasaki.

Passion - Leidenschaft

“Have a desire to make the world a better place.”
(@GuyKawasaki) via @PeterFaur

“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.”
(Albert Schweitzer) via @CandiCunningham

(Beispiel: Atompolitik ohne Super-GAUs)

“Träumer vollbringen weit mehr, als die Welt ahnt. Jede Imagination ist eine unsichtbare Realität”
(Prentice Mulford) via @intelli_chance

“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”
(Albert Einstein) via @intelli_chance

Quality, not Quantity

“Opine less and inquire more.”
(Ankush Narula) via @Quora

Right Connections

“When we assume we are separate, we build systems that reinforce that separateness. When we assume we are interconnected and interdependent, we build systems that reinforce those connections.”
(@HildyGottlieb)

“Sind Netzwerke mit der „Stärke der schwachen Bindung“ ein Vorteil für die Menschen? Verlieren wir dabei nicht Tiefgang und Vertrauen?”
(@trainthe8)

H.,
thank you very mutch for your warning! You've helped me lose time and trouble avoided. Do not be afraid to contact me, if I could do something for you!

All:
Do you stare at a comment also a little helplessly and do not know where you can put it? Scam, Fraud, Social engineering or not ...?

If it is not certain whether the writer is a needy blandisher, an confused, shy person or a troll, spammer or advance-fee fraud, then use a secure contact way like your Opera Inbox to send a personal message (PM) or a Mail Gateway like PrivaSphere.

Write back:

“Sorry, I do not quite understand. What is your goal and what can I do for you?”

Please report Private Message Spammers in this thread.
The McAfee SiteAdvisor is a small help for site checks, but not always.

I love the slim, fast and functional user interface from My Opera und the community, but I hate social rubbish.

Gmail Keyboard Shortcuts ez.com/GHelp

, ,

Is it you sometimes like that? You have long ago set up an account, moved to make use of keys to a later date and then never again thought of it. So I have already lost unnecessarily time.

The Gmail Keys together with MyOpera Speed Dial save even more time.
And most importantly, you avoid an “mouse arm” - the Repetitive Strain Injury Syndrome (RSI)!

Caution! Do a test first, if you're not sure whether your browser or other application or Gmail responding. Depending on system environment, sometimes only a click helps into the active window as a prerequisite that the action is executed.
My primary hotkeys:

/
Move the cursor to the search function

u
Return to conversation list

j
Move to older conversation

k
Move to newer conversation

n
Next message

p
Previous message

o or <Enter>
Opens your conversation. Also expands or collapses a message if you are in 'Conversation View.'

g then s
Go to 'Starred'

g then c
Go to 'Contacts'

g then d
Go to 'Drafts'

g then i
Go to 'Inbox'

g then t
Go to 'Sent Mail'

<Shift> + C
Create new mail in new Tab

<Shift> + F
Forwarding in a new Tab (conversation view must be on)

<Tab> then <Enter>
Send mail

r
Reply

#
Moves the mail or conversation to Trash

s
Star a mail or conversation

<Esc> or click in the window
Escape from input field. Removes the cursor from your current input field.

x
Select conversation. Next conversation with <Tab> then <Space>.

<Strg> + S
save a draft (cursor must be placed in a text box (body, to, cc, bcc or subject))

Do you need the operator with the advanced search to filter all unread mails per label? Here is the solution, and more search power.

xyz label:all is:unread
Shows all unread messages with the search string “xyz”.

subject: ineitzke digest is:unread
Shows all unread messages with the search strings “ineitzke” + “digest” in the subject. For finding
messages in a date range see next example.

Settings / Filter / Has the words: label:all is:unread before:2010-12-08 after:2010-12-01
So you can mark all unread messages as read or deleted from 2010-12-01 to 2010-12-07

More tips:

Email as SMS replacement: Add "(EOM)" to the subject of one-liner messages:

Fax legally

This extract corresponds to the source:
You can therefore assume at an OK remark on the transmission report of a fax machine generally that the facsimile transmission has arrived in the storage of the receiving device.

"OK"-Vermerk auf Fax als Zugangsnachweis
...

Danke. :-) Fortsetzung ist erwünscht.

Knowledge Management for All

, ,

Memonic Team,
congratulations on the award 3 - INTERNET WORLD Business Idea 2010!
230 + n bookmarks at delicious after few months beta phase are considerable.

All search operators important to me work in body and title:

o AND
o AND NOT
o OR or blank
o wildcards '*' and '?'
o phrase "... ... ..."

I believe with memonic is Nektoon capable to merge the best from Remember The Milk, My Opera (Notes+Blog) and Zen To Done simply and effectively. Please, not by a rigid clod "all or nothing" but with a modular freely configurable user interface for the users depending on individual need and skill.

This article of internetworld.de (German) explains the benefit of memonic well. Pressclippings

The loadtime of pages is not so fast as in the case of Opera Notes but the user interface is also very clear, well-thought-out and more functional. Was tested on an old system with low performance.

Optimization potential:
Unfortunately, the Edit button is not available in the set view. The button gets only visible if a Memo was opened.

Thanks for your service and much success for the next steps! up

First Step

, , ,

What attracts me here:

# fast and not overloaded user interface
Browser Opera and FastMail are my best tools for saving time on the Internet!

# good search power
- wildcard » wildca* but not wild?ard
- phrase » "fast and simple"
- inclusion and exclusion » +good +things -uninteresting
- OR » blank

Please do not change the editor! Wysiwyg is not necessary. See:

People sometimes compare Wikidot to other wiki farms like PBworks and wikispaces. The obvious differences are: we're much cheaper, we don't have a wysiwyg editor, and we don't have such nice graphics. But the real difference is much more important than that and explains why Wikidot will, IMO, become the most popular place for wiki 2.0 projects.

(Wikidot.com)

I prefer MyOpera as writing place currently - Notes + Blog. The handling speed is fantastic.
Thanks for this service at all people from Opera.com!
--------------------------------------------------------------
What I miss here:

# Tag Management like Diigo.com
# A little more search and find power like codeBeamer would be nice. But the syntax is already well above the average of the blogosphere.
