1. Can I apply for more than one position at the time?
Absolutely. The different openings we have are placed in different teams and therefore, reviewed by different screening committees. Therefore, when you apply for two positions, your profile will be considered against both positions by the screening managers for each opening.
2. How can I improve my application?
Send us a sample of your best work! As simple as that. Practical skills and projects you have worked on, speak better than any CV. We highly appreciate any code samples (with brief elaboration as to why you are proud of them), links to websites or any other projects you have worked on. Those can be part of school projects, or anything you have done in your spare time and interest. If the code piece is also in the desired language for the position, it raises your points!

3. Are the internships paid?
All Opera Internships are paid and our interns receive a monthly salary to help them support themselves and cover their living costs.
4. What is the period of duration for the summer internships?
At Opera, we try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to the start and end dates of our summer internships. Our interns come from all over the world and their academic schedules differ significantly. This is why we give our interns the freedom to choose their start and end date themselves.
The only requirement we have is that the internship is no longer than 6 months and the start/end dates are agreed and accepted between the intern and their future manager.
Most of our internships in 2009 to 2011 have started in May or June and ended in August or September.
5. Is there a chance for interns to get a job offer at the end of their internship?
Absolutely. In fact, many of our employees and even managers in Opera have started as interns. On average, about half of the interns for 2010 and 2011 received either an offer for permanent position or temporary, part-time work. You can also read some stories of those who stayed

Good luck to all!

Hi there
We have not stopped the practice of having interns in the legal or accounting departments, but unfortunately, it is not every year that we have the capacity to host them. It seems like in 2012 we will not have any law-related internships.

Can students from India apply for these internship positions and do you help with Visa for selected interns?
Thanks
