Developing My Intuitive Power Within (Oh yeah, and I'm really tired, too!)

, , , ...

I'm exhausted today... and I'm not entirely sure why. I slept pretty well last night, and even had dreams (which seems to be a rarity for me these days). I've tried to figure out what was it that is making me tired, and I have no sensible answer to that question.

If this were a few months ago, I would happily resort to a good nap and not even thought about the whole range of 'cause and effect' questions. But now that I'm paying more attention to my spiritual path and developing my intuition, I know that exploring this more deeply is called for.

So where do I start? That again is a very good question in itself. My journey to self awareness has come over and through humps, barriers and road blocks. Nevertheless, I always find strength to move forward and find a way through.

I'm continuing to discover that the answers to most questions only involve looking deep into my self. I've also been working through an intuition development program lately, and after reading the Quality Questions report from the Intuition Zone, I've learned that if I asked a question of my "higher self", that I might get an answer in a few minutes or so. But intuition isn't always communicating in the way I expect (another lesson learned from the program). It sends the messages in different ways, shapes, and forms.

Over time, I've became more attuned to the power within, so I trust that power within will help guide me throughout my life (even in understanding my intuition). Here's one exercise I just read about that I'm going to try... we'll see how it goes smile

1) Lie comfortable on a bed or a carpet.

2) Breathe in and out for seven consecutive times to relax your body while closing your eyes.

3) Once you feel relaxed and at ease, imagine a burning flame that is in the core of your heart or tummy. (it's up to you on where you want this flame to start from)

4) Next, manipulate your imagination to allow this flame to glow brighter and brighter, and bigger and bigger.

5) Don't hurry through the process; take your own time to comfortably imagine the flame growing until it surrounds your whole body.

6) As the flame grows you will feel your aura strengthening (side note: do I have an aura? People say I do, but I've never seen it...)

After this exercise, supposedly I will fall asleep for a while and wake up with immense energy flowing through my veins. Is it going to work? I'm not sure. smile A nap sure would be nice, but I'm really interested in being refreshed and perhaps being able to more easily ask questions of my intuition and understand why I'm surprisingly tired today. Let's see if a quick power nap will also give me the power to ask some "Quality Questions"... smile
