Dominic savio was born on 2nd of april, 1842 in castelnuova, italy. He was the second in a family of 10 children. His parents were hardworking peasants whose faith and devotion served as an example for their children. At the age of five, Dominic attended and served at mass daily. He received holy communion at the age of seven. On that day he wrote in a little book, "i'll go to confession and communion as often as my confessor allows me. I'll keep the holy feast days. My friends shall b Jesus and Mary, death but not sin. He had before then asked his parents to pardon all wrong he has ever done to them. Although he had to walk 8 miles to school and back, he never complained. When asked if he was not afraid, his reply was, "my guardian angel is with me". He was very friendly at school and was usually put up as an example of a person living the virtues heroically. As an example of how Dominic avoided the least influence of sin, we are told that once when he was swimming with a group of boys, they began to make vulgar remarks and to laugh at improper gestures. Dominic immediately left the water, dressed and went home. It was once said that when st Don Bosco preached a sermon on being a saint, Dominic made resolutions on some mortifications to follow which considering his age was quite demanding. On learning about this, Don bosco told him to follow these simple suggestions which can be adopted by all children: they are, being a good school boy; doing good to others no matter their conduct, always forgiving others, not being wasteful, studying all subjects in school no matter how difficult, being humble even when others are choosen before you, never to complain about weather but rather to thank God for it and several others. Don bosco concluded that, obedience is your greatest possible sacrifice. Once in school, two boys stuffed snow trash into the iron stove that was heating the room. When the teacher came back he was extremely angry. The two boys were so frightened that they falsely accused Dominic. But he remained silent. When he was asked why he was silent, he said, "our lord had also suffered injustly and remained silent". At the instance of Don Bosco, Dominic and some of his friends formed the immaculate conception solidality. Their aim was to increase frequency of receiving our lord at mass and to increase devotion to the holy Eucharist. Being in frail health, as a result of lung ailment, he died on 9th march, 1857, at the age of 14 after reciting the prayers of a happy death and receiving the last sacraments. His last words is still widely quoted thus, "what a beautiful thing i see".

4 youth corpers were kidnapped today at rivers state, the government should please do something to secure the lives of this patroitic citizens who are serving their nation. Again something should be done to reduce the crimes within the country because the rate at which crime is in this country is much. Government should ensure that the security agency is alert at all times with the help of the individuals. Telephone numbers should be given or sheared to the individuals for any emergency. Creation of jobs for the youths or those unemployed since not only youths are involved in crime. The activities of government workers especially politicians should be properly checked. Through these crimes will be reduced in the country.
