sorry no real Vikings around, but at the end of emerarld cove, the real gem, lies below
and some interesting stills of the vikings house that this widower created in the 30's. She and her son-in-law architect went to scandinavia and copied all the architecture and furniture she liked and they recreated it here in Tahoe. only for the summer months, as the whole place goes into the freezer after october, and up to its neck in snow. All the roads have poles on the side so you can see how deep it is.
and on the way back we got to see inspiration point....very inspiring
and then we did the pool thing....watery and wet
and now we are going out to try a Romantic Vegetarian restaurant...
