Spent a lot of time recently talking to various record labels and hearing their offers..
Where are all the legitimate record labels willing to put faith in a band and spend some money on releasing their record and promoting them?
Everyone wants money up front for PR. It's not right in my opinion. Why should the bands pay up? The music industry is in a really poor position at the moment.
I've decided to release our music myself, we may not get discovered by as many people without promotion but at least we might actually be able to make a living if we can sell some cd's and mp3's.
Our stuff should be on itunes and napster and others in January 09.
