Nothing New

　　私の趣味は***ですから***したいです
という文に、
　　私の趣味は***ですし***したいです
の方がいいのでは？と言って見たら、

h***ey: Like itochan's use of desu-shi, which breaks the textbook rule, "only the last verb gets the polite form."
D***-X_so it's okay to say desu shi to be extra polite
D***-X_desu shi is very polite

と言われてしまった件。
だしに比べてですしが丁寧という以上に「very」と思われているらしいことに違和感。

冒頭の文、伏字部分を別の具体的単語で埋めるなら、
　　私の趣味は料理 ですし 夕食をご馳走したいです。
そんな感じ。
ですから　でも　だし　でも　で　でもないニュアンスに見えました（私には）。
