ARTISTICO

"Ciertamente mi obra plástica, es figurativa, su personaje principal es el Hombre, su entorno cultural y social. Y como no serlo, cuando mi temática está dedicada a él, a usted a todos nosotros....Que soñamos, planificamos toda una vida, convivimos y luchamos por un mundo mejor.

Para los entendidos, la obra plástica, pertenece al movimiento de la Nueva Figuración o el Nuevo Dibujo, el cual tuvo su aparación en nuestro país entre las décadas, de los '70 y '80.

El Nuevo Dibujo en Venezuela, se caracterizaba por la utilización del género, no como un simple elemento de expresión o de apoyo a la obra plástica; sino que el mismo se concebía como una OBRA en su totalidad.

El DIBUJO y el GRABADO, durante esa época adquirieron una importante personalidad, al punto que resurgieron para entrar a los grandes salones nacionales. Allí era común encontrarme entre mis colegas, como: Saúl Huerta, Felipe Herrera, Edgar Alvarez Estrada, Anibal Ortízpozo, entre otros; compartiendo y confrontando ideas, estilos y espacios pero con el DIBUJO como género de trabajo de uso común.

En la obra dibujística, se reconocían expresivos y claros trazos de la figura humana en su medio cultural; en mi caso, me identificaba con todas estas características puras y claras de un nuevo estilo que insurgía con un contenido plástico y conceptual de un momento histórico. En eminentemente socialplanos casi transparentes de gran colorido, que se entre cruzan en medio de una pertinaz lluvia de pinceladas planas de blancos o amarillos, cargados de una vertiginosa velocidad, como si se tratara de representar el paso del tiempo...

Los críticos de artes, han considerado a mi obra, como un canto a la esperanza, en donde la denuncia social, la esperanza y el éxito, están implícitos por todos lados. Tiene efectivamente como personaje central, al hombre, en medio de las circunstancias, hechos y situaciones, que debe enfrentar o superar, en medio de las adversidades e injusticias de nuestros tiempos.

Los títulos, son la clave en mi obra plástica, para adentrarse en los temas respectivos, "Camino al Trabajo", "Pasajeros del Tiempo","Tiempos de Cambios", "Venezuela en tiempos de Guarimba", "Los Pasos Fugaces", son algunos de los títulos que los identifican".

MY PLASTIC WORK

"Certainly my plastic work, is figurative, its main personage is the Man, its cultural and social surroundings. And like not being it, when my thematic one is dedicated to him, to you to all us….That we dreamed, we planned all a life, we coexisted and we fought better by a world. For the understood ones, the plastic work belongs to the movement of the New Figuration or the New Drawing, which had its apparition in our country between the decades, of '70 and '80. The New Drawing in Venezuela was characterized by the use of the sort, not as a simple element of expression or support to the plastic work; but that he himself conceived itself as a WORK in his totality.

The DRAWING and the ENGRAVING, during that time acquired an important personality, to the point that resurged to enter the great national halls. There it was common to find me between my colleagues, like: Saúl Orchard, Felipe Herrera, Edgar Alvarez Estrada, Anibal Ortízpozo, among others; sharing and confronting ideas, styles and spaces but with the DRAWING as sort of work of common use.

In the work, expressive and clear outlines of the human figure in their cultural means were recognized; in my case, it identified to me with all these pure and clear characteristics of a new style that with a plastic and conceptual content of a little while historical. In eminently social planes almost I am transparent of great colorful, which between crosses in the middle of one rain of pinceladas flat of targets or yellows, loaded of a vertiginous speed, as if it was to represent the passage of time…

The critical of arts, have considered to my work, as a song to the hope, in where the social denunciation, the hope and the success, are in favor implicit of all sides. It has indeed like central personage, to the man, in the middle of the circumstances, facts and situations, which it must face or surpass, in the middle of the adversities and injustices of our times. The titles, are the key in my plastic work, to enter itself in the respective subjects, “Way to the Work”, “Passengers of the Time”, “the Fleeting Times of Changes”, “Venezuela in the days of Guarimba”, “Steps”, are some of the titles that identify them".
