RECORDANDO LA HISTORIA...

La declaración de la Independencia de Venezuela se realiza durante una sesión solemne del Congreso, el cual se había instalado el día 2 de marzo de 1811, casi un año después de los sucesos del 19 de abril, y en el cual los discursos independentistas fueron tomando cuerpo ante la resistencia de algunos diputados que aún consideraban prematuro separarse definitivamente del reino de España.

HISTORY

The Venezuelan Declaration of Independence is a statement adopted by a congress of Venezuelan provinces on July 5, 1811, through which Venezuelans took the decisions of breaking away from the Spanish Crown, establish a new nation based on the premises of the equality of individuals, the abolition of censorship and a dedication to the freedom of expression. These principles were enshrined as a constitutional principal for the new nation, and were radically opposed to the political, cultural, and social practices that had existed during three hundred years before. The Declaration is notable for being the first case of a Spanish American colony declaring its independence.

IDH: “The landscape returns to my work, with a message in defense of our environment”


Para cualquier artista plástico, el paisaje natural, resulta sin duda un elemento atractivo, y en ocasiones un reto en asumir (...) Es así, como en mi caso particular, en la obra plástica, nuevamente las escenas naturales, retornan cargadas con un profundo mensaje conservasionista, para interacturar con el HOMBRE, personaje principal en mi discurso plástico.


For any artist, the natural landscape is undoubtedly an element attractive, and sometimes a challenge to assume (...) is thus, as in my case in the plastic work again natural scenes, returning loaded with a profound message "conservasionista" to interact with the man, main character in my plastic speech.
