Sex and the City

I am watching the American TV series "Sex and the City" since last week. The aims I watch it are because I wanna practise listening (preparing for IELTs) and because I wanna watch the series!!! A friend of mine has recommended me about that series for a long time and then i made my mind i was going to watch it finally.
After watching for 1 week, I had a few thoughts in my deep mind. It is not easy here to talk about sex in public with classmates or even with friends. People feel embarrassed when mention that word. If you talk too much, people start to think that you are a freak or they might think of you as someone does "special" work(yes, prostitute!)
I was wondering how many women in my city are like those fabulos women in the show? How many are having a outsdanding life while being single, at the same time, looking for a Mr. Right in their deep heart? I was also wondering who is the Mr. Right? How can we define Mr. Right? Men who is not bad looking, with carrer and money, who is a graceful or elegant gentleman, plus, who is not a freak?! Or should Mr. Right be the one with all faults but just touch your heart or catch your eyes?
Meanwhile, another question is hanging in my head which I can't ger rid off. Is sex really that important in one relationship? I meant I've seen couples living happy life but they seem not pay attention to their sex life. It is quite common here in China. Couples don't care about that. However, it seems very important in Western relationship as I saw from the show. But both eastern and western are living happily. So how important is sex in a relationship at all?
It's not finished, to be continued after I watch more "Sex and the City"
