Seems like Pangkor island has been my annual holliday escapade since 2006. Instead of staying at Pangkor Island Beach Resort, we've chosen a budget chalet in Pangkor Village Resort at Pantai Pasir Bogak for 3 days 2 nights. RM180 on Saturday and RM150 on Sunday plus an extra matress at RM10 only. As for transportation, we've rented a car at RM150. So, it's less than RM100 per person for accomodation and transportation(5 persons sharing)!.
Visited The Dutch Fort and Foo Lin Kong temple again on the 1st day. Had seafood dinner at the same restaurant i've visited last year. Still as good as i remembered.
Went for an early morning swim on 2nd day and got stung by sea urchin. It's so painful! But it didn't stop me from going to snorkelling trip which we've chartered a boat at RM150. The corals and fishes are not so fantastic but still enjoyed the boat trip. Back to the chalet at noon and went for lunch in Pangkor town. Had fried kuey tiew and fried mee then fried bananas and potatoes as dessert. It's so tasty and cheap. After meal, we visited a nearby satay factory and bought some seafood snacks to chew. Then we went to Pangkor Island Beach Resort to laze and kill some time till dinner.
On 3rd day morning, went for a morning walk at the beach, tried to ctach some fishes and get tanned. Check out at 1pm,went to the same satay factory aganin to buy some snacks for friends and colleagues.
Had lunch in Setiawan as we wanted to buy some traditional onion biscuits. This biscuits are really popular as it'll be sold out within 30 mins then have to wait for another 1 and half hour. I've manage to buy 30 pcs for my parents, aunt and myself. Yummy!
