Call home from McDonald's and save money!

Rather than spending time and efforts in finding a phone booth to call home, find one of Norway's 67 McDonald's restaurants. The Cloud offers hotspots and you can use Vyke Mobile IP for free just by connecting.

You can set up a phone call between any two phones when you are traveling with Vyke Lite. Either purchase a local SIM card and use the credit for local calls and Vyke Lite for international ones, or skip buying a local SIM and just set up calls between whoever you call and a locale phone (kiosk, friends, restaurant, etc.).

The easiest way to get your Vyke Lite credits is with the locals. They sell PIN code cards for US$10.-/20.-/50.-

Just enter the code and start calling!

ICE Mobile 3G and Vyke Mobile IP

My latest wifi set-up happened to be in my car. Buying an ICE D-20, which most people use in their sommer- or winter cabins, was a smart move. I just plugged it into my cigarette lighter in my car and up was my new wifi zone.

What for? You may ask. well I'll tell you:
With ICE and Vyke Mobile IP I can call any US/EU/Canada/Norway fix line, US/Canada mobile phone, for only US$ 0.04 a call. Also, if I happend to call anyone else with Vyke Mobile IP, that call is free. And the quality is superb.

You'll also have access to google maps and other usefull sites for traveling, and of course e-mail, news, etc.

I would reccomend this set-up to anyone with teenagers, this will keep them online from Home to anywhere you go in Scandinavia and of course through out the vacation and/or weekend. No problems with MSN, Yahoo, AIM, or what ever.

Another group with use of this set up is truck drivers going accross boarder in Norway, Sweden, Denmark. One ICE network means no costly roaming. Not to forget public transportation companies competing with the railroad.
