Yet again, a great trip to Germany to listen to Metal, eat Bratwürst, drink Weissbier & dunkel, an just to spend time with my dear friends...
Everything has been going along smoothly from day one. I must be the first to admit that we're not the typical metal festival participants. We took a very early morning flight to Berlin last Wednesday, and spent the first night in a five star hotel there, doing some shopping and sightseeing.

The next morning we picked up our rental car, and I think that almost every rental car after this will be slightly disappointing. The black Audi A5 3.0TDI Quattro S-Line was a perfect ride for us to arrive the festival in style. The roads in Germany was as well very appealing for the car limited to a mere 250km/h electronically
.

After watching getting our festival pass, and watching Equilibrium, we headed back into the the middle age city of Dinkelsbühl, and checked into our hotel. No camping for us

Everything inside the city wall of Dinkelsbühl is a picture perfect middle age city, save from the cars... Saturday we even squeezed in a sightseeing of the city, and climbed the tower of the 15th century St. Georges Minister.
Thursday was not a great day musically, but Friday and Saturday was two very good days for us, and plenty of sun also helped keeping the mood very high. Amon Amarth, Haggard, Moonspell and Opeth was the highlights for me..

Sunday we drove back to Berlin and stayed a night in previous East Berlin before heading back to Norway today.
