About me

For over half a decade, Jason Bouvier has guided elementary school students in Connecticut. A graduate of Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelor of science in exercise science and education, Mr. Bouvier concentrates on physical education and health education. He holds State of Connecticut certification to teach both subjects to K-12 pupils. Currently, Jason Bouvier serves as a substitute teacher through the Bristol Board of Education. Before this role, he performed as a physical education teacher for third to fifth graders at Woodside Intermediate School and as an assistant teacher at Northwest Village School-Wheeler Clinic.

Mr. Bouvier also offers his services to sports organizations. Since 2004, he has performed as a counselor and coach with Bristol's Giamatti Little League Baseball Camp for 8 to 17 year olds. Moreover, he coaches 13 to 15 year olds in baseball at Bristol Parks and Recreation’s Scott League and oversees games. For a period, he also functioned as a volunteer football coach for Bristol Eastern Football Program and advised freshman defense squads while scouting opposing teams.
