Most people who would be reading this already know that last month we got a new puppy, Servo the Beaglier.
I've uploaded more photos
here and will probably upload a few more over the weekend if the weather's nice, since our fence is finished.
Riku loves being able to run free in the backyard.

This past weekend, we took the train to Chicago (the city) to see Chicago (the musical). It was alot of fun. It was starring
John O'Hurley as Billy Flynn. Then we went to dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse. Super yummy.
After dinner, we wandered over to the Mag Mile, but nothing was open. It was only 7pm on a Saturday night, and the only shop that we'd actually go into (besides the Apple store, but we're all set on iPods at the moment, right Dear?) was the Disney Store... -_-;;
So we went in and spent almost a hundred smackers on Wall-E stuff, including the Blu-Ray... Then, since we couldn't figure out anything else to do for a half hour until the train came, we sat in the freezing bowels of Union, listening to a monotone drone of "Track number seven... Track number five..."
Besides the crappy weather, it was a fun lil' trip. I think our next adventure downtown will either be for the Blue Man Group or the Harry Potter exhibit.

So, I had a sucky January for the most part...
First, I had a cold.
I started feeling better.
Then I got sick again. Went to the doc, and it was Strep Throat. Lovely. Antibiotics get!
Started feeling better.
Then, a few days later, I broke out in an itchy red rash and hives. Went back to the doc. I'm allergic to Amoxicillin. Awesome! Different antibiotics, calamine lotion, and antihistamines get!
<sigh>
But this past Saturday we went to see Spamalot on the 2nd to last night it was in Chicago, and it was excellent! Plush Killer Rabbit get! Luckily, my allergic reaction had mostly cleared up, so I wasn't miserable. My palms and feet are still a little itchy, but it only bugs me at night.
Here's to a better February!

I figure it's about time to update my blog...
I'm currently getting over a case of Strep Throat, so that's awesome. Oh, and yay, new president!

Thank you, internets. We've got most of our shopping done already, one trip to a Big Box Store, and the rest over the 'net. Now all I have to do is order our Xmas Cards.
