When it rains, it pours.

The next couple of months will see a lot of big changes in my life.

I don't think I've ever experienced this many big changes in my life at the same time before. Besides getting married in July, we're in the process of buying a house, and I just got a new job at work.

Plans are coming along rather well for the wedding. There are, of course, things that still need to be done, but we're getting a lot closer to being ready. We still need to deal with the cake, I need to get all the guys together for a tux fitting, and we need to get someone to actually perform the ceremony. Those and buying the food are the major hurdles we have left. They really shouldn't be any problem though.

On the house front, the paperwork has been sent in, and we're just waiting for them to get back with us as to whether we're going to get the money. If not, we'll have to look at other options. I don't even want think about the possibility of not getting it right now.

As for the job, I'm moving into our purchasing department. I'll be in charge of all of our fresh seafood orders, and some other general administrative stuff. It's steady daylight, which we both desperately wanted before we got married, and more money. I really think I'm going to like it.

The next couple of months should definitely be interesting.

Can you see what's wrong with this sign?An attack of hubris
