I already designed very fashionable shoes two weeks ago. I did that after I saw a fashion show of Alexander McQueen, which had some ridiculous shoes in it. So I thought: why should I not be able to think of something completely ridiculous, yet cool looking. So I did.
Anyway in that blog post somehow in the comments catsuits were mentioned, so I thought: hey, I already design shoes (I guess I have to be gay now ), why not try something else, like a catsuit. So some thoughts crossed my mind and I ended up with something I thought would be worth putting on paper. While drawing it it evolved in something not so much a catsuit anymore, but hey who cares? I don't.
I better stop talking and show you what I came up with, right? The quality of the picture isn't really very good. I made a picture of the sketch and it is actually to dark to get a good result. I try to get a better snap sometime soon!
design sketch of a 'Catsuit' or at least some piece of clothing. Pencil on paper.
For those who wonder how to get into this thing. There is a zipper on the back of the suit (on the light brown line) that goes from the bow all the way up to the collar. The boots have buttons on the inner leg, which are light brown. I guess that should work right?
I love browsing the internet, because you stumble upon all kinds of creative things. Browsing one of several blogs I visit on a regular basis, I found a nice Flickr group Cool Dudes and they sure are cool! Of course Lego always get me warm inside , but look at those fellows, aren't they amazing?
I like Pulp Fiction very much too, so that second image is an absolute winner!
The same blog brought a fashion show of Alexander McQueen to my attention. Loyal readers may know I kind of like fashion shows, I think they can be really creative and quite impressive shows to watch. Well this one sure was creative, its the spring 2010 collection. Of course these are museum only pieces, because there is no way these are going to be used as clothing
Look at those shoes, aren't they magnificent?
Here is the show (in two parts) if you would like to check it out:
I kind of feel sorry for the girls, they have to walk an enormously long runway on those shoes. It must have been hell
Using 3,604 cups of coffee with different amounts of milk and coffee to create shading for Mona Lisa’s face. A project organized at Rocks Aroma Festival in Sydney, Australia.
Quite an original idea and also well done if you ask me. I would guess it's really hard to get it right! In this video you can see the creation of this 'master piece'.
You can also paint differently with coffee, using it like watercolour! Actually quite some people use this technique including val webb, who said this about it on some coffee related blog

My coffee cup doubles as a paint palette: I brew up a good, strong batch of my favorite beverage and use it just like watercolor. Coffee from different parts of the globe creates different colors: African beans result in a rich reddish tone, for example. Central American coffee imparts a shiny, very dark brown. And your painting is wonderfully aromatic!
Today I came by a beautiful blog on the internet I just have to share this with you! It's a collection of very nice and often very bizarre art. Whatever you want to call it, it's without doubt creative and inspiring! You can find the \\\ blog (or acidolatte) as its called on blogspot. You should definitely visit, and perhaps even bookmark it
Let me share a few things I liked most from this blog.
Well a fresh week tomorrow. I'm really planning to get doing something for a change this week. I feel confident that it will going to work this time, finally. I still have to do some work for my studies, this is not a lot of work, but it just has to be done. Than there is this job I wanted to search, of which I did write some day ago. I want to try to get something at an advertising agency. I like graphic design and commercial thinking. It really is something else, but I have some feeling for graphic design I guess and I'm quite familiar with web design/development. I guess my general education is high enough and I'm smart enough to be of some value to an agency I think. Well I'll guess I just see where it ends up.
I just like to see something else, get a broader view of my possibilities and find out what I really like. Maybe after working in advertising for a while I while run away screaming, but that's just something to find out.
So I'm going to collect a small portfolio this week and start applying! At least that's the plan. I really have no idea what to expect, so it would be a nice experience.
In the mean time a made this sketch of a very underrated car IMO which many people dislike, but I love it! The Jaguar XJ-S. The older models are best (in terms of looks anyway, I guess newer models will drive better).
