Kumpulkan Kapas-Kapas Yang Tersebar

Mula2 kecil2-an.

"Maaf sobat aku tak sanggup mengabulkan permintaanmu yg kedua.

"It's certainly is wiser if we do something to make others happy -
by talking more about someone's kind deeds rather than his evil deeds."

A Black Spot on a Piece of White Paper

In a small village, there lived a family with their only son. Being the only child, this boy was very spoilt. He always demanded service from other people. His parents often advised him about his bad habits, especially of blaming his friend or even his parents. Yes, this boy loved to find others people's faults. Worse still, he sometimes did this just to make fun of the people who made mistakes although they might not do them intentionally.

One day, out of his carelessness. the boy fell down. He screamed to his father, "Dad! See what you have done?! You didn't put this bucket away, so I fell down. It hurts so much!" Helping him, his father said, "It was not my fault or other bucket's. The bucket's. The bucket is always there. It was your own fault! You walked so carelessly that you slipped and fell down. Next time be more careful, son." This boy walked away, grumbling.

In other occasion, the boy took a walk in the forest. there he saw a swarm of bees around a beehive. "The honey in this beehive must be very delicious and healthful. I will get rid of the bees and take the honey." Taking a bamboo stick, he poked it hard. This angered thousands of bees and they turned round to attack him. Seeing the swarm flying to his deriction, he soon fled. However, the angry bees would not started to sting him.

Ouch...Help! Please help me!" Screamed the boy while running to avoid the nasty attack. after a while, the bees let their victim in great pain. From afar, hearing his son's scream for help, his father came runing.

Seeing his father, the boy shouted, with an angry face and complaining tone, "Why didn't you come sooner to help me? Look at this! I am wet, cold, and my whole body is aching because of the stings. If you had really loved me, you would have saved me so that I didn't have to experience this. It's all your fault!" He pushed away his father's hand rudely when he tired to reach him. His father sighed deeply. Then both of them walked home together in silence.

At night, when it was almost time for bed, the father came to his with a piece of white paper. "My son, what do you see on this piece of paper? " After looking at the paper for a while, the boy answered, "This is just an ordinary piece of paper; there is no picture on it. why did you ask me?" Saying nothing, his father took a pen and made a black spot on it. "What do you see on this piece of paper?"

"There is a black spot on it!" the boy answered, stiil puzzled. "My son, why do you only see a black spot on this white paper? Don't you realize that almost the whole paper is white? You see, son, this piece of paper is like your point of view. How easily you see my mistakes and other people's. Don't you see that we have done so many good things to you? All other people's good deeds, no matter how great, are nothing to you because you just see and pay attention to the black spot. The black spot is other people's mistakes which, no matter how small, will make you grumble and angry. This is not an admirable attitude. You must change it! The misfortune happened to you because you were careless. Don't let out you anger to others. Doy you understand son?" Hanging his head low, the boy nodded and quietly answered, "I'm very sorry, Dad. I was wrong all this time. please remind me when I do the same mistake again in the future."
