Much of running & even more of new friends

Who said, that cats and dogs cannot live peacefully together? You may find more of clues here, and below are some of pictures I made last weekend :)

Who Let the Dogs Out?

There he is - my dog, called Dante (and it is not after the famous writer...). He belongs to race of polish hunting dogs, but for now it is more like fury ball full of energy and will of exploration:

Dubrovnik (april 2010)

, , , ...

Dubrovnik is very beautiful place in southern Croatia - main reason to visit it was very spontaneous, and strongly connected with actual offer of cheap flights from Warsaw. First impression was like "wow, so many stairs!"

But after few hours it was really tiring for someone, who lives in such a flat area as middle Poland. Otherwise the views from hills around Dubrovnik are superb and no doubt worth of daily hiking experience. Also the Lokrum island located few kilometers from Dubrovnik was great place.

All people we have met there were very friendly, bringing us the idea to visit Croatia again. The only disturbing thing was food served in restaurants. The best was... pizza. Local specialties like cheese dipped in oil or seafood risotto were totally disappointing. Well it doesn't taste better as it looks ;)

Short trip to Kazimierz Dolny

Kazimierz Dolny is one of the most frequently visited places by people living in Warsaw. Great views, nice places to visit, eat and make some pictures:

Modlin Fortress (March 2010)

, , , ...

Modlin Fortress (Polish Twierdza Modlin) is one of the biggest 19th century fortresses in Poland. It is located near the village of Modlin on the Bugonarew river, some 50 kilometres north of Warsaw. It was renamed Novogeorgievsk (Новогеоргиевская крепость) after it was captured by the Russians in 1813. - Wikipedia
