New plug in EV Prius Hybrid

Prius Modified... LI-ION batteries... up to 40mph and 180mpg
They take a Prius change out the 1.3kWh and drop in a 9kWh Lithium Ion battery setup... (only costing 20,000 right now expecting to see it around 10k) And now the Prius runs on the batteries entirely for the first 50-60 miles then back to normal Prius hybrid. In the mean time they get up to 180mpg. As the top speed of EV only is limited to 40MPH the use is limited to city driving only but as most trips only add up to around 30-40 miles to and from work if driven slowly the trip to work and back could be nearly free.... they are saying it costs (after hours) around 80cents to charge it at home. So 70-80cents each day instead of 2.50-3.50 per gallon. But until the price of Lithium batteries drops and they quite blowing up in laptops it looks like the plug in Prius will be a car of weekend hacks.
