Getting slowly into Lie Groups

If I should believe the reviews on Amazon this book will help tremendously.

I really like this review: "... I believe that most mathematicians are more concerned with impressing their colleagues with their subtlety and erudition than they are in making a clear, simple and comprehensible presentation. This is mitigated by the publisher's insistence that the first 10 pages be clear to a mid-level undergraduate so the book will sell. So I usually get stuck at page 10 in those books. This book is clear ..." ( From the Amazon page ). I think the reviewer means with "most mathematicians" Fulton and Harris. ;-)
I have been browsing through "Lie Groups, Lie Algebras, and Representations. An Elementary Introduction by Brian C. Hall" a bit and I must say it is a very beautiful book. I definitely need to study this book if I ever want to understand Lie Groups.
