Jim Caprioli at The Finland Station

I am close to understanding induced representations, thanks to this example on PlanetMath. I worked a bit on Exterior Powers and Symmetric Powers, again: no luck on that subject. It is nevertheless the first time in almost a week I feel that I made some real progress. I can clearly distinguish the trivial, alternating, standard and regular representations. No longer afraid of tensors and direct sums.
