( The ancient Egyptian priests were highly educated. It was documented that they used their mathematical skill to forecast a solar eclipse. Just before the next solar eclipse they told the common people that Ra, the God of the sun was full of anger and that he would cover the world in darkness, unless...! An ancient example of abuse of knowledge power. Too make a long story short. Let's not pretend that mathematics is difficult.)
C2 x C3 ~ < matC2 > (+) < matC3 > My first practical calculation of a Direct Sum of matrices! What does this mean? If matC2 and matC3 are 2x2 matrices generating the cyclic groups C2, C3... then the Direct Sum of matC2 and matC3, which is a 4x4 matrix, generates the group C6. This representation of C6 is of course reducible but that's another issue altogether.
