The word nothing is used everyday to denote absence , actually if you can put a thought in that you will end-up saying nothing is just an illusion ,if you haven’t got what I mean yet then perhaps you should put your attention on this scenario: “SOMEONE SAYS THERE IS NOTHING ON THE TABLE” this clause may be incorrect on a scientific point of view since we know that  there a lot of things to be found on the table e.g. dust particles, microbes, air molecules,etc.

So from this I conclude that when we say nothing we just mean absence of something that was expected to be found in that area at that specific time period.
