Tragedy!?

B. Shaw once wrote that 'there are two great tragedies: to gain your heart desire and to lose it. Well i used to think it was a dumb quote until it stuck me...

I spent years searching for my heart's desire and when i finally found it, i lost it within months, my world seemed to crumble...Yes it was a tragedy. Tragedies happen. Yes, but does that mean we should give in and become miserable all our lives!

we fight! Fight like hell to get our lives back on track. To move on with our lives and learn our lessons. To become better not bitter all our lives.Tragedies can only bring pain and how you handle pain can make or mar you. Sheeny once said 'strenght is not in resisting pain but in feeling it, absorving it and conquering it' how do you conquer pain? By understanding instead of blaming by forgiving instead of avenging by living instead of existing...I have my scars but no regrets... Maybe Shaw didn't have to 'kiss and tell' to find his heart desire but if gaining and lossing my heart desire is a tragedy to him, then it was worth it. I wouldn't trade my tragedy for a life without finding my heart's desire. Niether will i trade those magical moments of love, that took my breath away for a million dollars!!

Quite touching! Well i never felt my heart desire is to be attached to someone, or luv. Cos, i never allow myself to luv that much. I guess she must have been lucky to have such a nice guy like u. If ur luv was magical y brk up? Tragedy i guess. And whats this kiss n tell stuff? Sounds romantic. I'd google it.

@ adimora. I'd say maybe love isn't all that their is to keep a relationship. Maybe maturity, patience,understanding, trust, endurance and communication are kinda vital
@supereddy. yeah, i know what love really feels like, cos i've been there b4. And i'd say when you find it, you both have to fight hard to keep it.

My opinion is that since the relationship didnt work then its not meant to be.so enjoy the best of life. There is someone out there that will feel the same way for you as you felt for her.patient!

past sorrows let us moderately lament them, for those to come,seek wisely to prevent dem...we da mankind are like moth to flame...we struggle 4 fulfillment of a desire which once achieved ends in nothingness and takes with it a subtle part of us. i am also bearer of many broken dreams and lost loves..that had made me strong..perhaps!
