Well said. It takes great courage to voice your view. Some in your country will hiss "traitor", others will applaud and cheer you with "some one gotta stand up and be counted!", some will murmur "I wish I had said that!"

Most people don't want war. If the leader of a country wants war it is easy to accomplish, whether it is a democracy, a dictatorship, a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and expose the country to danger. It works the same in any country.
