design-notes, opera, annoyances
No, it's not CSS Naked Day. The Opera servers are having fits again and somehow my stylesheet has been hosed. So, for awhile at least, you've all been spared the retina-burning hot pink and black design that was here just moments ago.

former-sticky, boobiethon, breast-cancer, design-notes
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and in addition to participating in the Fifth Annual Boobiethon, I've decided to jazz up the place with some seizure inducing shades of pink, my favorite of which is Pepto-Bismol! Be sure to visit the Boobiethon site so you can ogle you some breastesses. And I've hounded and harangued some of my male friends and cohorts into submitting their chest shots too. So go peek.
P.S. Don't worry, this theme will be up for the duration of the Boobiethon (one week), and then it's back to baby puke green and pears, until the end of the month, when you can become bewitched (or nauseated) by my Halloween skin. Because nothing says Dark Master quite like black and red. You've been warned.

Did babies puke (or poop) all over this blog? Did I get that shade of baby poop green down pat, folks? Let me know if there is anything unreadable here; this design was (lazily) based off my default (seizure-inducing) "Bad Self" design. Fortunately for your retinas and nervous systems, it won't be up past Monday or so! The banner image is from iStockPhoto.com, the font is True Type Astaire, and the tiled background is hand-rolled by yours truly.

As you notice, I am swapping out the series of banners I created for Fred's brand spanking new design. They are free for your use. Just head on over to my Photo Album and choose one, more or all. You can play around with the font family, size and color as I did on this banner to get different effects for your title and tagline.

Excuse me while I go slip into something more comfortable. Valentine's Day is just about over now and I'm going to revert back to my original "Bad Self" design with its seizure-inducing color palette!

You didn't really think I could keep my cotton-picking fingers off my stylesheet, did you? {{snort}}
This design will be up until the day after Valentine's Day or until I get sick and tired of it, whichever comes later. The banner font is True Type
Hearts-BRK and the tiled background is from
CitrusMoon.

The retina-burning, seizure-inducing design you see now I call "Bad Self." (Read the banner, it will make more sense then.) The banner fonts are True Type
Pizzicato Swash and good old
Times New Roman Italic, respectively. The divider image was created from dingbat font
Botanical. The banner graphic is from
iStockPhoto.com. Because of their restrictions on using images for web templates, this design cannot be offered as an Opera theme. Hate them for it, not me!

Santa-Baby Theme: Banner fonts are True Type Chocolate Box and Barbara Hand. The divider graphic is from a Paint Shop Pro tube and the tiled background is from Firda Designs. The banner image is from Ben's Lucky Drunks collection. Enjoy.
