What Was She Thinking?!

Someone hold my drink while I climb down off my soapbox.

If It's Tourist Season, Why Can't We Shoot Them?

Dick Cheney must have wondered the same thing. While quail hunting here in Texas, he managed to bag himself a lawyer Not just any lawyer, mind you, but "Harry Whittington, a millionaire attorney from Austin." Whittington is recuperating in a Corpus Christi hospital and is expected to recover fully from what is probably just a flesh wound. His wife witnessed the whole thing from the safety of the couple's parked car.

Despite Mr. Whittington's undoubtedly painful injuries, I just had to laugh at this one...

Can you just imagine what the late night show hosts are going to do with this material?

Joni!
I like the way you think and write, I belong to the Family Federation for the world Peace, and I want you to be part of it, at least as spiritual member. The world we live in today, is a very sensitive one and there is a tremendous danger about it, specially in the inciting words or the use of the essence of it, we all are touched by the human suffering and the tragedies occurred in the last few years, those are basically man made. Within us there is a contradiction which is expressed more and more in the kind of Leadership we have in the world today, and the solution for those problems are centered upon the changes that we may be able to perform with our actions. The Founder of The Family Federation is Rev. Sun Myung Moon from Korea, we have more in our web-site:wwww.familyfed.org
Thank you and I love you.

@rydlp12, thanks but no thanks. I already follow a group whose tenets I find to be refreshingly empowering.

This one was really funny. And I believe this is the first time a vice president has shot anybody, accidently or otherwise.

Of course, we have had a president who beaned a guy with a golf ball... Thank you Mr. Ford for the laugh. And thank you Joni!

The man has a pellet in his heart, folks.

Yes, since this post, it turns out he's had a heart attack as a result of the birdshot that scattered upon entry. Whether intentional or not (and I assume NOT), Cheney definitely did not handle his firearm appropriately given that there were humans in the vicinity.
